At a cabinet meeting today Mr. Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport & Highways, Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Government of India, shared that “There are six crore registered MSMEs in the country which provide jobs to over 11 crore people and contribute 29 per cent to the GDP.”
To further liberalise and include more units under the MSME categorisation, the maximum limit to the amount invested or turnover generated, has been further increased. Have a look.
